Know the bird in your stamp (Goldeneye duck)

Staffa is an island in Scotland.

The males have bright yellow eyes and the females have pale yellow eyes.

It has distinct whistling sound of its wings in flight. So they are also called as Whistlers.

They are brood parasites. Females often lay their eggs in other nest.

Chicks jump from the nest one day after the hatch.
