Bellamy penned the 23 word pledge to be recited as the flag raised. 

I pledge allegiance to my flag and to the republic for which it stands; one nation,  indivisible with Liberty and justice for all.

Srilankan stamp



Troides helena darsius commonly known as
Birdwing butterfly is the national butterfly of Srilanka.

It is a black and yellow colour butterfly with an attractive pattern.



B R L fee stamps


Broadcast Receiever Licence Fee





B.R.L fee stamps were used to collect fee from radio users.





The fee was collected quarterly, yearly etc.



8 B.R.L fee stamps were introduced in 1965 in denominations from 50 paisa to 15 ruppes.






Radio users would buy these stamps and affix them in a radio license booklet.





These stamps were discontinued from 1985.



USA stamp




  The honeybee stamp was   designed by Chuck Ripper.

  This is the first combination     process coil stamp issued by     United States postal service.
  This stamp was issued at Omaha    stamp show's opening ceremony    in 1988.




Honeybee is the state insect of Georgia, Kansas, Oklahoma etc
It's the state bug of New Jersey, and the official agricultural insect of Tennessee.


Honeybee gather nectar from flowers and produce honey and wax.


They also contribute in agriculture by pollinating 90% plants.



USA stamp


USA issued a series of wildlife stamps depicting flora and fauna.
This non- denominated stamp was one of them.
This single red tulip stamp was issued in 1991.
This F rate stamp can be used only on the letters mailed within USA.
